BLUE HIGHWAY
In 2024, Blue Highway celebrates 30 years of touring with their 15th studio album, Lonesome State of Mind.
The band has earned a collective 32 International Bluegrass Music Awards, a Dove Award, and three GRAMMY® nominations.
Guitarist and vocalist Tim Stafford received honors as as the 2014, 2017 and 2023 IBMA Songwriter of the Year and co-wrote the 2008 IBMA song of the year, Blue Highway’s “Through the Window of a Train.”
Bassist and vocalist Wayne Taylor was inducted into the Virginia Country Music Hall of Fame in October 2016. Shawn Lane was nominated as 2016 IBMA Songwriter of the Year.
As momentum continues to build for the bluegrass powerhouse, Blue Highway rolls on with a rich legacy, with Lonesome State Of Mind being another milestone along their decades-long journey.
